The owners and employees of the firm pose for the photograph in front of the building. On the back is a note that reads: The social is on Tuesday night WNJ. The postcard is addressed to Mrs D Gillies of Westshore. The donor has supplied the following information: the social would have referred to the Caledonian Society, Sailing Club or Westshore church. There is a red one penny stamp affixed to the back.

I have a plate with a green painted image of the shop dated 1904. Cracked, broken and repaired but a good memory of old Napier. I am in Melbourne, Australia.
