he photograph has been taken from Carlyle Street looking towards the front façade of the building. The east side of the building is also visible. A picket fence runs across the front of the property. A sign reading Police Station has been affixed to the gable wall of the cottage.
A man in uniform stands in the front yard. The man is possibly William Harvey, clerk.
