About this object
An image of Fire Brigade Convention attendees along Marine Parade in various groups and cars.

The photograph is taken on Marine Parade near the intersection with Browning Street looking toward Bluff Hill in the background. A man is standing in the centre of the road in the foreground of the image. A group of convention attendees are standing on the corner near the Hawke’s Bay Club.

At the right of the image a convoy of cars including an Aard’s Motor Services taxi. A group of men in uniform in the front car and casually talking and leaning on the car looking to the vehicle at their rear. There are several onlookers standing under the Norfolk Pines on Marine Parade or seated on the sea wall.

There is a letter on the reverse of the photograph.
