About this object
View of a house on Shakespeare Road, Napier. The house is thought to have belonged to local saddler Henry Richard Holder. A note on the back of the photograph states that the house was originally built in 1866 but was modernised around 1920 after it was damaged by fire.

The photograph has been taken from Shakespeare Road looking towards the front façade of the building. The east side of the building is also visible. A driveway is located on the east side of the property.
