View of the main lawn at the Napier Botanic Gardens. The photograph has been taken from the terrace gardens looking towards Spencer Road, possibly in the 1890s.

The bottom of the rose garden is visible in the left foreground. The structure at the end of the path is thought to be a well.

Houses along Enfield Road are visible in the distance.
