About this object
View of an art exhibition taken at in the Bestall Gallery, Hawke's Bay Museum possibly in the 1940s. The walls of the space have been hung with framed pictures in a range of media. Each of the frames bears a number in the bottom left hand corner. Along the back wall of the room there are two floor cases in which a selection of ceramics, glass and silverware is displayed. A piano is located in the foreground.
