About this object
View of a display at the Hawke's Bay Museum and Art Gallery, Herschell Street, Napier, possibly taken prior to 1950. The display contains a number of native bird specimens, including two Huia. The birds are displayed on stylised tree branches.

The display is thought to represent Birds of the New Zealand forest. The display was possibly located in basement of the museum building.
