About this object
View of an exhibition hosted by the Napier Society of Arts and Crafts prior to the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake. The exhibition is thought to have been held in the Scinde Hall Sample Rooms, Napier.

Framed pictures are displayed on tables around the room. The rear wall of the room features three rows of pictures. Among the pictures displayed are reproductions of ‘The Letter’ by Gerard ter Borch, 'Portrait of Georg Gisze' by Hans Holbein the Younger, and Botticelli's 'Primavera'. Textiles are displayed along the left wall.
