Letter from Charles Haughton to George S Whitmore, Wellington regarding the capture of Titokowaru's Pā at Tauranga-Ika near Waitotara in the Taranaki region.
Haughton writes that he has received Whitmore's letters from 3 February of the capture of the Pā and the advance of the Arawa and Cavalry Volunteers. He also writes to convey thanks on behalf of the Government to the troops, especially for Colonel Gorton.
