Postcard featuring a view of the General Post Office on the corner of Shakespeare Road and Hastings Street in Napier.
The photograph has been taken from Browning Street looking west towards the Post Office. Shakespeare Road is visible on the right side of the photograph. The streets are occupied by horse drawn vehicles.
Napier Hill is visible in the background.
There is a note on the front of the postcard. The note is addressed to Mrs Barton Hobbs, Johannesburg, from Lily Hane. The postcard was sent from Christchurch on 10 January 1905.
