Postcard featuring a view of the General Post Office on Shakespeare Road, Napier.
The photograph has been taken from Browning Street looking towards the intersection of Hastings Street and Shakespeare Road, possibly in the early nineteenth century. A row of horse drawn vehicles are parked in front of the post office. Napier Hill is visible in the distance.
There is a note on the back of the postcard from Jane to William dated December 1910. The note wishes William a happy Christmas.
