A photograph believed to depict Napier celebrations marking peace at the end of the South African War in 1902.

The photograph is taken on Marine Parade, Napier showing infantry and cavalry soldiers lined up looking toward a platform evident at the left of the image. Spectators surround the troops in the image at the front side, the rear and along the Parade and sea wall.
