A photograph depicting Hastings Street decorated for the parade and ceremonies surrounding the Imperial Troop visit to Napier in February 1901. Flags are seen hanging on wire across the street in the foreground of the image. Two young women are crossing the street in front of Ringland Brothers Outfitters. In the background men on horses and horses pulling a buggy are travelling towards the camera. The shop awnings and posts along Hastings Street are decorated with young saplings and foliage.
