From a group of photographs depicting inter-house teams and bands competing at McLean Park on that date. The image depicts a small group of spectators standing on the edge of the field watching a military brass band with instruments standing in formation.
A group of children are playing at the right of the group. Two children are running toward the spectators at the left of the image. A large stadium stand is visible across the field in the background of the image. The photograph appears to have been taken from a slightly higher elevation looking down on the scene.
