Probably Rotokanapanapa near (old) Lake Rotomahana (destroyed in 1886 Tarawera Eruption). The skyline is a good fit for a continuation of that in a photo Te Papa's collection (https://collections.tepapa.govt.nz/object/282200). The general character of the vegetation & mud volcanoes is also consistent.
