A photograph of women parading in formal historical dress down Hastings Street between Emerson and Tennyson Street.

The women are flanked by young men in page costume holding signs indicating the period the women are dressed in and advertising McGruer's. Two men in suits are also visible at the right of the image walking alongside. The people are believed to be McGruer's staff members participating in the 1921 Mardi Gras.
