About this object
A photograph of the Robert C Wright Arch, part of the Colonnades Memorial on Marine Parade in Napier built in 1937. The Veronica Sunbay can be seen in the background. Built in 1934, the Sunbay was given it's name in 1937 when the bell from the HMS Veronica was given to the city as a memento of the crew's assistance in the aftermath of the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.
