A view of Port Ahuriri from Bluff Hill, thought to have been taken in 1877 or 1878. The foot of Shakespeare Road is visible in the left foreground. A road leads from the base of Bluff Hill out to Ahuriri. Ships are moored around the port. A further four ships are visible in the harbour.
