About this object
View of the Napier Post Office, located on the corner of Browning Street and Shakespeare Road, thought to have been taken in 1877 or 1878. Horse drawn carriages are parked in front of the post office. Among the other businesses visible along Shakespeare Road is R H Holder (saddler).
