This is to certify that Henry Hill B.A - Inspector of Schools, Napier, New Zealand has, in recognition of the eminent services rendered by him to the cause of philosophy, been duly elected a fellow of the research society. As witness, the seal of the society this eighteenth day of May, 1898.
Signed by an unreadable signature, President and Newton W Emmens, Secretary.
The certificate has a gold embossed seal with the words: Research
Society and a picture of the staue of liberty.
