About this object
A photograph of the Union Hotel on Waghorne Street in Ahuriri. The hotel was rebuilt in the Spanish Mission style in 1931 after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February that year. The two storied building was constructed in reinforced concrete and brick.
