About this object
A photograph of Dr Moore's Private Hospital, Upoko Poito, taken from Napier Hill after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The building was severely damaged in the earthquake and was subsequently demolished. Byron Street runs along the bottom of the photograph. The Athenaeum can be seen in the background on the right.
