View of the old Post Office, located on the corner of Hastings Street and Browning Street. The photograph was taken from the foot of Shakespeare Road, possibly in the mid 1880s. Behind the Post Office is the Bank of New Zealand. Horse drawn vehicles are parked in front of the post office.
