Lease deed between Hirika te Aroatua, Horomona Parae, Retimona Hohaia, Pateriki Rehua, Paranahi Tomai, Pateriki Hawaiki, Aritaku Aweawe, Irihapete Waeriki, Noani Tokotoko and Arapera Ngira of the Province of Hawke's Bay and William Rathbone, Storekeeper of the Tarewa Block.

Tarewa Block of four hundred and ninety acres was to be leased to William Rathbone for fourteen years for fifty pounds per annum.
