Brief Description
Memorandum from W L Rees to the Premier, John Balance, in regards to matters outlined in his previous memoranda concerning Native Lands. He urges the Premier and his Cabinet to conduct a thorough inquiry into the transactions of A J Cadman, Native Minister, and Mr W C Smith.
Rees re-iterates his stance that A J Cadman and W C Smith had undervalued the Umutaoroa block in order to make a profit through speculation. He also mentions Cadman had threatened to bring a libel suit against him through the solicitors Sainsbury and Logan.
Numbered four in a series of four.
