View of Napier. A note that accompanies the photograph suggests that it represent removal of rock from Napier Hill to make the recreation ground. Railway lines are visible along the left side of the photograph. A shed is located on the right side of the photograph. Men, some with pick axes, are visible in the foreground and on the side of the hill. The sky has been handpainted with grey paint.
