A photograph of Heretaunga Street in Hastings taken after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The photograph has been taken looking towards the Karamu Road intersection. The Albert Hotel and Carlton Hotel remain standing on either side of the intersection. A motor vehicle has been destroyed by falling debris.
