A postcard photograph of Napier Breakwater and Bluff Hill taken from sea. The image is taken on the water at Napier Port looking back toward Bluff hill.

The ship visible docked in port is possibly the Union Stream Ship Co steamer Mokoia which was a regular caller to Napier between 1898 and 1920. Also visible is the Harbour Board grab dredger J.D.O., named after the Harbour Board Chairman J.D. Ormond.
