About this object
A view of Ahuriri looking towards Napier Hill, possibly taken in the late nineteenth century. Among the buildings visible in Ahuriri are the premises of Murray, Roberts and Company, Banner and Liddle, Kinross and Company, and Williams and Kettle Limited. The bridge linking Ahuriri and the Western Spit (Westshore) is also visible. Meeanee Quay is possibly located on the extreme right of the photograph. Napier Hill is visible in the distance.
