A photograph depicting what remained of Roach's Department Store after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The photograph was taken from King Street and looks across the rubble to Heretaunga Street. Land's Bag Shop is in the distance at the corner of King and Heretaunga Streets.
