About this object
A photograph of Heretaunga Street in Hastings taken after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The photograph looks towards Stortford Lodge. The block between Railway Road and Market Street is located in the foreground. On the right are the Club Tearooms, the Bank of New Zealand and the Bank of New South Wales. Behind the bank, is the intersection of Market and Heretaunga Streets.
