About this object
A photograph of the Hawke's Bay Farmers Co-operative Association Limited building on the corner of Market and Queen Streets in Hastings, taken after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The building was designed by architect Edmund Anscombe and constructed with a floating foundation. It was completed in late 1930 and was undamaged by the 1931 earthquake.
