About this object
A photograph of the Nurses' Home on Hospital Hill adorned with flags. This photograph is believed to have been taken in 1930.

The Nurses' Home was near the entrance to Napier Hospital on 65th Street and was formally opened in December 1926. The Napier Hospital Board administrative offices were on the ground floor.

The Nurses' Home completely collapsed in the 1931 Hawke's Bay Earthquake.
