This photograph depicts the Hawke's Bay Tribune Building on the corner of Queen Street and Karamu Road.

This photograph was taken after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931 and shows the fallen motif of the Herald Tribune building, with the burnt out National Bank visible in the background.
