About this object
This photograph depicts the Methodist Church on the corner of Hastings and Heretaunga Streets in Hastings after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. Built in 1912 and designed by Albert Garnett, the building collapsed during the earthquake. The church was later rebuilt on the same site.
