This photograph depicts Land's Bag Shop on the corner of Heretaunga and King Streets in Hastings after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The building was badly damaged and the business subsequently moved to a new location on Warren and Heretaunga Streets.
