This photograph depicts the corner of Warren and Heretaunga Street east, looking towards Stortford Lodge. The photograph was taken after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. Buildings have collapsed. Three people are sitting on a broken couch in the middle of the street.
