This photograph was taken on Queen Street in Hastings after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. Note the damage to the brick work on the building to the right, occupied by Simpson and Bate, Solicitors. On the left is Stickland and Bryant, Stationers.
