A photograph of the Napier Hospital Nurses' Home taken prior to the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.
The Nurses' Home was at the entrance to Napier Hospital and was formally opened in December 1926. The Napier Hospital Board administrative offices were on the ground floor.
There is a car parked outside the Spanish Mission style Nurses' Home. A man's leg can be seen dangling in the foreground at the left.
The Nurses' Home completely collapsed in the 1931 Hawke's Bay Earthquake.
