About this object
A stereoscope photograph of the Willis Street and Dixon Street intersection.
This image is thought to have been captured from an upstairs window in the Monteith residence. The image captures the view over two apparently vacant sections towards St John's Presbyterian Church. The long verandah property to the right possibly belonged to G Hunter, Merchant.
The date is unknown although it is believed that the photograph was taken in the 1850s.
Photographer, George Dalrymple Monteith.
Date, unknown.
