Houses are visible along the back of the property line, behind the fence. A hill is visible in the background at the right.
There is a lack of foliage on the trees. A structure is visible in the rear of the photograph, possibly made to support vines or trained plants.
The date of the photograph is unknown, but is thought to be taken in the 1850s.
