About this object
A stereoscope photograph of Wellington Harbour with a view of an unknown three-masted vessel. There is a view of the northern slopes of Mt Victoria and Oriental Bay in the background. The private wharf or jetty in the foreground could be any of several that dotted the shore from Willis Street to Te Aro Pā.

Date unknown, thought to be the 1850s.
