About this object
View of Cosy Nook (also known as Gilberd House), Ashridge Road, designed by J A Louis Hay. Taken from the intersection of Vigor Brown Street and Ashridge Road, the photograph represents the north east and front facades of the house. The house is clad in weatherboards, with half timbering on the gables and a stone dado base. A stone wall featuring timber balustrading runs around the perimeter of the property on Ashridge Road and Vigor Brown Street. A gate is located on the corner of the intersection.
