View of the Anderson and Hansen Limited building (1932), Dickens Street, designed by J A Louis Hay. The entrance to the garage is located at the centre of the building. Shops to the left of this entrance are occupied by the Majestic Radio Service Company and a shop selling confectionary, soft drinks, and homemade cakes. The shop window to the right of the entrance to the garage advertises Austin cars. The last shop on the right is vacant. Tram lines are visible in the foreground.
