The men are posed in two rows, one standing and one sitting. In the foreground on a support is the cup that the team won. The man seated in the centre of the seated row has a ball on his lap that has a skull and crossbones drawn on it and reads: Pirates 1923 Water Polo.
The men are identified. The men standing from left to right are: T Daley, A Cohen, W Wilkie, R Kivell and E Amner.
The men seated from left to right are: C McKinnon, N. Kivell (Captain) and R McCallum.
