About this object
This photograph shows the Hastings Post Office on the corner of Queen and Russell Streets which was built in 1910. The photograph was taken after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The front corner of the building, where the clock tower was, collapsed during the earthquake.
