Tin Town, as it was nicknamed, was built after the Hawke's Bay earthquake devastated much of central Napier on the 3rd of February 1931. Pictured is, L S McClurg Limited, Watchmakers and Jewellers and Mrs Taylor, Milliner and Ladies Outfitters.
