About this object
View of an interior designed by J A Louis Hay. The photograph has been taken from the bottom of a timber staircase. A timber dado runs around the walls of the staircase. The lower part of the wall is divided up by columns. Glass panels have been fitted between the columns. A window fitted with leadlight glasswork is located at the top of the stairs. A framed picture and a stag's head are mounted on the walls.
