A photograph of two women, three girls and three boys seated on a diving pier at the river's edge. The river is unidentified.

The woman in the bathing costume and hair wrap in the centre of the photograph appears to be wearing a swimming costume with the Te Awa Swimming and Life Saving Club insignia on the chest.
The two young men on the extreme right of the photograph are wearing bathing costumes also. The other young man is in a suit.
