A view of Napier, looking east. In the foreground are the community shops, commonly known as Tin Town, built in Memorial and Clive Squares after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The premises of McGlashan's, an auctioneer and fruit merchant, is visible in the bottom right corner of the photograph. Also visible in the background is the Trinity Methodist Church and St Patrick's Church.
